Mt. Lebanon Junior Women’s Club Charitable Fund Grant Proposal Procedure

**The MLJWC 2020-2021 grant application process is currently on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic and limits on the Club's ability to conduct business.  We will post on our website and social media pages when we know more.  Thank you for understanding and please stay safe!**

The Mt. Lebanon Junior Women’s Club (MLJWC) is a civic, philanthropic and social organization founded in 1968. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with an annual membership of approximately 100 women from Pittsburgh’s South Hills. MLJWC concentrates on advancing the status of women and children in the region through volunteer efforts, and by providing financial support from the MLJWC Charitable Fund to well deserving charities.
Each year, MLJWC solicits grant proposals from eligible charities. MLJWC’s Philanthropy Committee reviews all applications and chooses which organization(s) will receive grants the following May, including selection of the organization that will be our major grant recipient. The Philanthropy Committee determines the amount awarded to our major grant recipient, as well as the amount of smaller grants to other well-deserving organizations.
