Over $700,000 has been donated to charities and community concerns in the past 49 years of MLJWC's existence.  In the 2016-2017 Club year, mini-grants were provided to the following entities:

The Philanthropy Committee was formed to focus on the club's giving for greater impact. This fund builds from year to year and establishes a legacy for the club.  
The Philanthropy Committee solicits grant proposals from eligible charities and recommends recipients to the board in accordance with our established by-laws.

The MLJWC is proud to award a $1,000 merit based scholarship each year to a Mt. Lebanon High School senior woman.  To be eligible, the applicant must be planning to attend college and submit an application, which will be available at the Mt. Lebanon High School guidance office. Deadlines will be published once confirmed with MLHS. 
We are honored to present our 2017 scholarship to Julie Raff. Julie's focus on academic excellence, her passion for her chosen area of study, her involvement with several tutoring programs and her dedication to the orchestra and band are impressive. She excels in academics and has competed in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science competition where she won several regional and state awards. She is also a member of the nation Honor Society and the Cum Laude Society.
